My name is T.J. Kleckner. I have been a NWS trained storm spotter for the last five years. I often chase storms that occur in my local area around Ames.  I mostly chase for hobby and for photography.

I created this website in the hopes of networking local storm chasers and storm spotters.  In creating chase groups I hope to end "solo" chasing. Everyone knows its never a good idea to chase alone and operate equipment on the road. A good chase partner is useful when it comes to operating radar, cameras, watching sky conditions, and calling in storm reports. A added bonus to having a chase partner....the cost of gas and snack food is split in half.
